The accommodation facility is pretty basic in few places like Khopra Ridge since they have one single community lodge. Sometimes the possibility of sharing room with others can be the occasion due to the shortage of rooms.

Till date altitude sickness has not been reported in Annapurna foothills circuit trek. Since you start from a very low elevation and you don’t go much high into thin air there is less chance of getting altitude sickness. However, other mountain ailments like food poisoning, diarrhea etc. has been reported for which you have a professional group leader who are trained to deal with any mountain ailments.
The charging privilege for your devices is possible in almost all lodges except occasionally they didn’t encounter any problem with their power supply or their Solar panels. However, it is always wise to carry some extra batteries or the fully charged power bank batteries since your batteries run out pretty quick in the cold.

Most lodges provide you with hot shower facility at minimal cost but not all lodges do. However, these basic lodges do provide anyone with bucket – hot shower which is indeed a great experience in the Himalayas. WiFi is limited to few lodges over some charges but they are not always reliable.
For environmental concern we are opposed to the use of disposable plastic mineral water bottles on any of our adventure trips to Nepal. With no additional cost our staff will supply you with appropriately boiled water every morning and evening for which at least 2 metal bottles or BPA free Nalgene bottles are recommended. In case you ran out of the delivered water you can always buy boiled and filtered water from the tea houses along the way at minimal charges.
Besides spring and autumn season in Nepal, Annapurna foothills circuit trek is feasible even during winter (December till February). Despite the chill factor, usually winter gives you the crystal clear sky with magnanimous mountain views. Closure of few lodges and not too many choices for food can be the circumstances. Soon you land in Kathmandu airport your group leader will be there with Nepal Pyramids board to greet you and transfer you to the hotel. Despite, the capital city of Nepal certainly being the busiest with hectic traffic it undoubtedly has a strong appeal with local splendor and vigorous activities around, where you can simply relax and take pleasure in the fun of driving through the unfamiliar roads.

Today would be the most exhilarating day where your leader introduces you to our city tour expert who guides you to the most pious Hindu and Buddhist religious place that are listed in the world heritage sites and elucidates you the entire mysticism over its existence.

Driving 200 km to Pokhara, the second biggest city of Nepal is very entertaining giving you ample opportunity to know how locals live up to drive through these winding roads in local bus which are often enormously packed.

Today after breakfast we drive for about an hour to the west of Pokhara to the beautiful settlement of Kande that offers remarkable view of mountain and traditional villages. Soon we set off into the delightful trail ascending through the consistent stone steps to Australian Camp, a settlement situated on the high hill ridge where the stunning valley and the majestic Annapurna range opens up in all its magnificence.

Today we wake up early for the most stirring sunrise view from Australian Camp. Soon we are doing with our breakfast we walk a beautiful trail through the forest of Rhododendron, Oak and Maple to the small settlement of Deurali. We descend down from Deurali through the most enchanting forested trial and walk a gradual trial to the yet another Gurung village of  Pothana. Gradually through the effortless trail we get to our destination, Tolka. Overnight stay at the local lodge with locally made meals.

We walk an effortless trail with the grandest view of the landscape and deep gorge to the next beautiful Gurung village of Landruk. We descend to the village of Kumi, situated at the Valley of Modi River. You may also see ample wild honey hives high up on the towering cliffs. We climb steep trail with steps that will eventually take us to Ghandruk, the biggest Gurung rural community in the region.

Morning sunrise view from Tadapani lodge itself is one cherishing moment with the panoramic view of mountains like Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail etc. Today we walk the very untouched woodland trial also very popularly known as “The Lord of The Rings Trial” due to its dramatic forest setting. We gradually ascend to the very small settlement of Meshar and Isharu where we would stop for a tea. Walking into the most beautiful hill cut gradual up trial and stream valley trail we get to yet another small place of Dobato.

Early wakeup for morning excursion to Muldai view point from where the sunrise is one cherishing moment with panoramic view of mountains like Annapurna, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Dhampus peak, Fishtail along with the view of Kali Gandaki – the world’s deepest gorge. After breakfast we leave Dobato and walk the mountain ridge trail that takes us to Baili. We descend down to the stream with the most stunning view of landscape and deep valleys with exquisite forest setting of pine, rhododendron and oak. After the foot bridge short undulating trail guides us to Chistibung.

• Fabulous walk through the mountain ridge trial and lush forest.

Though a short walk we steeply ascend 600 m to Khopra Ridge. We climb all the way leaving behind the tree line area to the small holy pond from where the view is outstanding. Next short climb takes us to the alpine Khopra Ridge where there is only one lodge belonging to the community. Availability of rooms need to be confirmed beforehand.

After breakfast steeply descend retracing our trail back to Chistibung. We further descend down through the lush forest to a cultural isolated lodge for lunch. Continuing our trail through the forest of bamboo, oak and rhododendron where few locals have spotted wild bear and tiger we get to the most beautiful terraced village of Swanta, considered to be one of the most attractive village in the region.

2 and a half hours walk to Nayapul, the starting point and depending on your preference the leader will organize your lunch. 1 and a half hour drive to Pokhara.
